Using GOV.UK One Login with Search cosmetic product notifications (SCPN)

How to sign in to SCPN using GOV.UK One Login and what to do if you have problems.


Before you start

You need a GOV.UK One Login to use this service.  

If you do not have a GOV.UK One Login, you can create one when you sign in.

If you do not have a Search account, you must request one.


If you’re having trouble accessing your account

Your account doesn’t allow you to use this service

Check you’re signed in with the correct GOV.UK One Login. You may need to sign out of GOV.UK One Login and sign back in again.

If your GOV.UK One Login is correct, but it still does not work, contact us using the enquiries form.

You cannot access the information you need

You created a Submit account by mistake

You cannot remember your GOV.UK One Login sign in details or they don’t work

You can change these details in your GOV.UK One Login:

  • email address
  • password
  • how you get security codes to sign in

You’re having problems with security codes

GOV.UK One Login sends the security codes you need to sign in. SCPN no longer sends its own codes.

If you use an authenticator app, make sure you use the code linked to your GOV.UK One Login.
